AEI offers
consultancy on turn-key basis if desired.
AEI also conducts training programme
on Rainwater Harvesting (RWH) of 2 (two) days duration with
the object of training manpower competent to conceptualize
RWH structures, design, draw, construct, supervise and maintain
the same. Training programme is designed as Finishing School
for RWH personnel.
Training programme (of Finishing
School) will consist of the following :·
- 1. Rainwater Harvesting:
Storage for direct use.
- 2. Rainwater Harvesting:
Artificial recharging to augment groundwater aquifers.
- 3. Design of rainwater
harvesting structures.
- 4. Estimating cost of
rainwater harvesting structures.
- 5. Visit to the Association's
rainwater harvesting installations.
- 6. Visit to the Association's
experimental set up.
Who can join the training programme?
Architects, Engineers, Urban Planners, Technicians,
Policy Makers, Educators, Realtors, Students (Graduates
of any disciplines), Interested individuals.
The training programme,
the first of its type in Eastern India, with hands-on experimental
set up facilities has been conducted twice already with
38 participants from different sectors like municipalities,
industrial houses, realtors & individuals they are putting
up quite a few RWH structures.

training programmes are conducted once in three months.

cannot be arranged.
Fee: Rs
2500/- per participant; for Association’s members
of more than 5 years standing, 60% rebate on fee. Programme
fee includes lunch, refreshments and training materials.
Fees are payable in advance by demand draft of any nationalized
bank in favour of ‘The Association
of Engineers, India' payable in
Kolkata. Last date for receipt of application form with
fees is ten days prior to the date of commencement of the
programme.
